– Control of the plant operation and provision of the authoritative advice on operational and technical matter within the station and contribute to the formulation of station procedure and instruction
– Coordinating the activities of shift staff, to include the clear communication of objectives, requirements and responsibilities, ensuring by regular observation that all shift staff are fully conversant with their respective duties and responsibilities and are carrying them out safely and correctly
– Maintaining availability, capability, coal silo stock levels, maintenance, fire protection, electrical safety, environmental and general safety responsibilities to ensure the performance and safety of the plant and personnel at all times
– Be capable and professional response to, and handling of, emergency situations using own technical knowledge to recognize, diagnose and respond to plant problems
– Coordinating and be responsible for safety at all times including the plant permit system
– Facilitating an informative and cohesive shift ‘handover’, ensuring the safe transfer to and from respective shifts, so that safe and effective care custody and control are maintained at all times
– Be responsible for safe start-ups and shutdowns, to respond to incidents, trips, and events, to include ensuring adequate investigation, safety assurance and the timely return to service of a unit, reporting to the appropriate people, the mobilizing of additional support

YÊU CẦU CÔNG VIỆC
– Fluent orals and written in English
– Bachelor’s degree or above (Desired Major: Engineering or related fields)
– At least 5-year experience of operation shift work in coal-fired power plant. (including at least 3-year essential experience in shift leader, foreman, or unit controller positions in the control room)
– High-level communication and management skills
– Ability to self-motivate and motivate staff
– Good observing and analytical ability and active personality
